Transport Training Centre has been successful in securing funding through the Construction Industry Training Board to allow current and active CITB Members to access training subsidies to assist them with upskilling in a range of different courses.

We are offering Forklift, HR & HC Truck Licencing, Health & Safety Representative Level 1 & Bridging, WHS Managers & Supervisors, Transport of Dangerous Goods & Hazardous Substances Awareness and Load Restraint!

About Transport Training Centre - OVERVIEW

The Transport Training Centre Inc is a not for profit industry based training and resource organisation, made up by a board of industry representation. Our centre provides training and consultancy services through its centre at Regency Park as well as operating “on site” and distance training.

Since the establishment of the first centre in 1984, Transport Training Centre Inc has, through its partnerships with industry, continued to develop and provide a diverse range of services to meet the ever changing needs of the Transport and Distribution Industries. Transport Training Centre Inc. is widely recognised as a provider of quality advice, information and education services with a special focus to the Transport and logistics Industry.

The organisation is overseen by a Board of Management drawn from industry through representation of key stakeholders to ensure the achievement of the corporate goals and objectives.

The Mission of the Transport Training Centre Inc. is:

Training Courses

• 1. Accredited Training
  Transport Training Centre Inc offers a number of accredited courses for the transport & logistics sector. These accredited courses include Driving & Warehousing Operations; Work Health & Safety; Logistics; and Hazardous Goods. • 2. Loadshifting Equipment
  Transport Training Centre Inc offers a number of handling accredited & non-accredited courses for the transport & logistics sector. These accredited courses include Forklift & Order Picker Operations and Load Restraint courses.

• 3. Truck Licencing
  Transport Training Centre Inc offers a number of Heavy Vehicle accredited & non-accredited courses for the transport & logistics sector. These accredited courses include MC, HC, HR, MR & LR.

• 4. Driver Awareness
  Transport Training Centre Inc offers a number of accredited and non-accredited courses for the transport & logistics sector. These accredited courses include Driving Operations, Defensive Driving Car, Defensive Driving Government Employees (Fleet SA), Defensive Driving 4WD and Towing & Reversing.

• 5. Passenger Accreditation - SP/TX
  Transport Training Centre Inc offers a number of passenger accredited TX and non-accredited SP courses for the transport & logistics sector.
  
  The accredited courses include TLI21210 Certificate II in Driving Operations (Taxi) and Small Passenger vehicle accreditation (is for vehicles of 12 seats or less, but does not include metropolitan taxis).

• 6. Hazardous Goods
  Transport Training Centre Inc offers a number of hazardous goods accredited courses for the transport & logistics sector.
  These accredited courses include Course In The Transport Of Dangerous Goods By Road/Rail and Handle Dangerous Goods/Hazardous Substances Awareness Course

• 7. Work Health & Safety
  Transport Training Centre Inc offers a number of WHS accredited & non-accredited courses for the transport & logistics sector.
